Supported stacks and limits
Which languages, package managers, and Git hosts Evermach supports, and the limits on builds and security scans.
Analysis works with any language
Drift Control™ analysis and codebase overviews read your code without building it, so they work with any language or framework.
Builds
Builds can read and change code in any language. The build sandbox includes Git, ripgrep, fd, and Bun. For projects with a package.json, Evermach installs dependencies with the tool that matches your lockfile:
| Lockfile | Install command |
|---|---|
bun.lock | bun install |
pnpm-lock.yaml | pnpm install --frozen-lockfile |
yarn.lock | yarn install --frozen-lockfile |
package-lock.json | npm ci |
| None | npm install |
- Install scripts are disabled (
--ignore-scripts), and a failed install doesn't stop the build. - Bun projects get the most complete support today. Other package managers are used when the sandbox provides them.
- For Python, Go, and other ecosystems, Evermach doesn't install dependencies or run tests automatically, so review those changes with extra care.
Security scans
- Scans check your code and your dependencies. Dependencies are read from
package-lock.json,npm-shrinkwrap.json,bun.lock,pnpm-lock.yaml,yarn.lock,requirements.txt, andCargo.lock, and checked against OSV.dev for npm, PyPI, and crates.io. - Each scan reports up to 25 code findings and 25 dependency findings.
- Scans run daily, weekly, every two weeks, or monthly.
- Automatic dependency fixes are verified for npm and PyPI packages.
Git hosting and trackers
- Git hosting: GitHub.com.
- Issue trackers: create GitHub issues or Jira issues from Requests.
- Design: Figma files, written guidelines, screenshots, and PDFs in your project library.
- AI models: Anthropic and OpenAI.
Size limits
- Builds clone the most recent 50 commits of your branch. There's no fixed repository size limit.
- Reviews read diffs of up to 150,000 characters. A larger diff can't be reviewed in full, so its pull request opens as a draft.
- A build runs for up to 60 minutes by default, and up to 120.
Supported stacks will grow. If yours isn't covered well yet, tell us during your demo.
